Tourist Information Centre is run by the Promotion Department of Katowice City Hall together with the Silesian Tourist Organisation, whereas the Silesian branch of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society offers here numerous publications, gadgets and other literature dedicated to history and culture of Katowice city. It also provides city tour guides.
Additionally, in Nikiszowiec district one can also visit the Tourist Information Point, hosted by the Museum of Katowice History offering a lot of free promotion materials, tourist maps as well as a shop selling books and publications relating to history and culture of the Nikiszowiec housing estate in Katowice. On the spot it is also possible to listen to a free audio guide during the tour of Nikiszowiec.
